WHY I CREATED MOMENTUM
For most of my life, I was chasing some version of “enough.”
Enough success, enough approval, enough control.
In my teens and early twenties, I struggled with addiction, alcohol, drugs, food, and the constant need to fix or numb whatever I was feeling. My weight fluctuated with my emotions, and even after losing over 130 pounds, I found myself trapped in a different kind of cycle, burnout.
I worked in the fitness industry for years, pouring everything I had into helping others, but behind the scenes, I was exhausted, anxious, and disconnected from myself. Eventually, the business I built from scratch — with someone I trusted — was taken from me. Not long after, I lost everything again in a house fire.
There was a point when I had nothing left, no belongings, no business, and barely any belief in myself. But that was also when everything started to shift.
Through deep healing work, including working with plant medicine, rebuilding my relationship with my body, and learning how to regulate my nervous system; I finally understood what real alignment means. I realized I didn’t need to start over again and again. I needed to rebuild with intention.
That’s where Momentum was born, out of the exact lessons I had to learn the hard way:
• That burnout isn’t a badge of honor.
• That clarity doesn’t come from hustling, it comes from healing.
• And that your purpose doesn’t have to cost your peace.
Now, my business, Vibrant Zen, thrives because it’s built on alignment, not pressure, and I created Momentum to help others do the same.
